4th Sunday of Easter

Beautiful - wish all could experience this

As much as the joy of worshiping God together with brothers and sisters each week, as much as partaking of the body and blood of our Lord Christ, I find that the liturgical music is a huge part of the Mass experience.

And as much as I loath most of the Marty Haugen songs, this one - our responsorial Psalm to-day - is beautiful.

(Heed also the Picardy Third.)

And as our opening hymn, I was reminded of Bible camp decades ago via Rutter's beautiful harmonies in this old hymn:

BLESSED BE GOD FOREVER!
