for by Your cross and resurrection, You have set us free.
We adore You, O Christ, and we bless you.

JESUS IS SENTENCED TO DEATH
Because of the pharisees' envy and Pilate's weakness, Jesus was condemned to death. Because i, too, have judged and condemned You in my own brothers and sister, or, in my silence, have allowed others to do so: Have mercy, O Lord.
