Miggy the DH

Another beautiful day here in Whitmore Lake, MI. Tigers are winning 1-0 in the fifth and I have just boiled my first batch of hummingbird potion of the year. Over the winter I saw that Wal-Mart had a 'new' type of container that not only had the ant moat at the top, it had little slots for those tiny beaks in order to retard the entrance of those damnably persistent yellow jackets. For now, I will trust my colorful glass container with the precious sugar-water - none of the stinging pests have been seen yet.
It was 20 degrees out on our deck when I woke up this morning and is up to 61 now.

Warm, warm, warm, warm, yes!
