Shop n Save

If you take highway 31 north of Bear Lake, the first main town you come to is Benzonia. Benzonia is a cute little place, with a Wesco, an oil change place, a couple of second hand stores, a McDonalds, and Shop-N-Save.
Shop-N-Save is a Spartan store... Oh, what is a Spartan store you may be asking.
Well friends, Spartan stores are groceries in Michigan that sell the Spartan brand of products. Average in quality and price, Spartan products are a couple levels below Meijer brand, Kroger brand, and even Wal-Mart's 'Great Value' stuff (or whatever the hell they call their very cheapest food products). But Shop-N-Save is much more than just average prices on Spartan staples; Shop-N-Save is a Ben Franklin hardware, a great place for quality meat, AND a great bakery. They have all manner of bread, snacks, fish, beer, liquor, discounted dented cans sitting in la canasta at the front of the store, spices, paper products, frozen foods, and produce. It's a nice 15 minute drive from my rental here in Bear Lake but i don't go as often as I'd like to because I don't have my truck any more but golly gee, I sure would get up there regularly if I could!
