With fans blowing furiously here in Hamburg Hills

At the beginning of his homily this morning, Pastor expressed his dismay at the recent Church clergy abuses and then offered prayers, consolation, words of hope, and reminders that there is really nothing new under the sun. With personal testimony and stories, he tied in all four of to-days readings in a brilliant and heartfelt discourse.

We had a good deal of rain yestreday and some associated breezes coming through the windows bringing movement to our curtains and blinds.  It is very muggy again to-day already, but Alexa has assured me there is no rain in the forecast.

College football dominated my recreation hours (and hours and hours) yestreday; the peak and climactic summit realised itself in another true road loss for the perennially over-rated Wolverines of Ann Arbor. I am, after last night, a renewed Notre Dame fan, due to both the many student-athletes and fans I noticed wearing Christian signs and symbols as well as the beautiful colorific 'The Word of Life' mural on campus - visible from the stadium and affectionately referred to as Touchdown Jesus.

Shoring up our deck railings using some super long screws, already cleaned the cat litter after mass. Yestreday I harvested more tomatoes along with my Scarborough Fair herbs; the second wave of chilies are getting close to ripeness - indeed as I do have some bacon in the fridge as well as some cream cheese, I will put poppers on the menu with our burgers and dogs.

Do you also want to leave?

Lord, to whom shall we go? YOU have the words of eternal life.

Alleluia, alleluia!!
