A beautiful Tuesday afternoon here in southeast Lower Michigan! Snow is gently falling, titmice and housefinches and chickadees and downy woodpeckers are enjoying the sunflower hearts we have provided outside our window, and the children are adding another entry to their science journals. About half of my class is out sick so we're taking it easy here in 106 this afternoon. If it weren't for this ulcer I'm dealing with, we'd go out and play football in the snow. So pretty....
