The Church

The Church wrote the letters and history that has become the New Testament of the Bible.
The Church held sacred the prophecies, songs, and history that we call the Old Testament of the Bible.
The Bible did not create the Church, Jesus did.
Jesus gave the Church authority to loose and to bind, and to forgive.
Jesus is the Son of God and the son of the Virgin Mary.
The Church has undergone terrible episodes throughout Her history, as has Mankind.
Ultimately and forever, God prevails, Christ is King, and He reigns forever!

⁹ For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, ¹⁰ so that at the name of Jesus EVERY KNEE WILL BOW, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, ¹¹ and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
